Preventing childhood obesity is our priority

On October 2-3, 2008, CLOCC and CISC will be hosting Healthy Foods, Healthy Moves: Delivering the Childhood Obesity Prevention Message in Schools and Communities.

This national conference will provide participants with strategies, tools, and materials to address the childhood obesity epidemic in their schools and communities.

Attendees will:

• Hear from experts and participate in exciting workshops
• Work with representatives from other CISC affiliates and nutrition and physical activity activists
• Receive a tool kit of practical tactics
• Learn how to apply project strategies locally
